He began his career as an investment sales broker and later moved in-house to a prominent affordable housing development firm, before striking out on his own. He has experience with a variety of complex and highly regulated affordable housing programs including Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, Section 8, Section 202, Section 236, HOME, CDBG, NHTF, and all manner of subordinate debt.


In four years, his company has grown to ~4,000 units and more than $350,000,000 in equity under management.

After beginning his real estate career as a leasing agent and property manager, Eric Weatherholtz became a retail real estate entrepreneur in 2002 and later co-founded Healey Weatherholtz Properties, an investment management and advisory firm where he works with retailers, designers, and contractors to make properties more valuable. Eric also connects capital with opportunities through Village Square Partners, a hospitality operating company, and Automatic, a business development platform for commercial real estate owners.
